Grace's birthday celebration

We had planned to celebrate Grace's birthday with 2 of her dearest friends....Ruth and Emily!  So, I had scheduled a trip to the neighborhood nail salon to get a manicure. So, off we went.......

What an experience!

They are seeing what a manicure entails

It tickled Ruth to get the initial buffing done!

They got the hand massage before the painting

now for the polishing

Emily drying the nails

"I am still here, and I am not so sure I like this!"

Ruth liked this part!

Emily thought this was fun because they could talk! :)

Grace got some extensive artwork, so she took more time  here.

the girls came up with this picture!

Now, off for dinner......

Bob Evans....Grace's choice :)

fun pictures with the nails

Each of the gifts were so thoughtful and perfect!

thank you hugs

more thank you hugs

Emily kept saying...."This is too big" so I told her to cut it in half....that was comical to watch the challenge that cutting created! She had plenty to take home! :)
So, now we went off to shop around and have fun looking at things in the mall......of course, teenage girls.....where else would we go......but.....CLAIR'S :)  Oh we all had fun checking out all the fun accessories in this store!!
HATS

Emily loved it all!!

This was too cute though.......the hat was on a headband! :)

Definitely her color!!

ok......I call them the Blues Brother's (female style) :)

Gotta have fun!!

Here they all are.....Charity and Gracie were home with Ruth's mom, but we all had a great time.

Then, we hit the bridal/evening gown shop in the mall.....oh what girl doesn't like dress up!!! :)  They had a blast trying on evening gowns and beautiful dresses of their choice.  It was just plain girl fun!!
After an Auntie Annie pretzel, we had to leave the mall and take the girls home.

All in all, it was a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday, and the girls are already trying to plan another day out!!
Thank you to the Porters for taking Andrew during this time....he would have loved traveling around with us for this stuff!!! NOT!!!  And for Katy taking Charity!  Even though she would have loved to have done what these girls did.....she had a great time with Gracie!
Wonderful memories with friends!!
