sicknesses and blessings

Well, the day started off pretty poorly......I woke up unable to stand due to vertigo!!  If I opened my eyes, I was spinning.  If I tilted my head in any way, I was spinning. If I stood up and lifted my head off the pillow, I was in a cold sweat and feeling nauseous and really thought I was going to throw up very soon!!!
So, what is a girl to do????

CRY FOR HELP! :)

I got it!
With it being Sunday, I asked my good friend to help in getting the kids to church.  She was very helpful in that area.
Charity was not happy with seeing her mom like I was, and she "offered" to stay home and take care of me.  I was too sick to really argue with her and explain things at that time. Later I found out that she was not going to leave me because she thought that I was dying!  (I must say that I wasn't sure what was going on!!)  Turns out that she was a great help while the others were at church.  She brought me tea and medicine as I needed.  I couldn't life my head to drink, so the tea got cold and she microwaved it a number of times! :)
Once the others came home, Grace went right to work.....she cooked dinner for everyone.  She served with a sweet attitude, and made sure I was comfortable.  She even cleaned the kitchen without having to be asked!!  That was such a blessing.  I heard the dishwasher going, and was so very pleasantly surprised. :)  She is s a great girl.  We were able to sit and talk a little tonight since I am actually sitting up at this time. I enjoyed the time with her.

Even if she was being goofy! :)


 She then took over in the evening after church again and cooked and cleaned again!!  I just love her!! :)

She didn't want to have her picture taken as many times as I did, but I wanted to get a nice one for the blog! :)
Thanks Grace for all that you did today!!  You are growing up so quickly!!!  Your maturity really shined today, and I appreciated it all. 

Now, on the health side......I am actually sitting here without dizziness and able to turn my head slowly too.  I do have a stiff neck from being in one position all morning to prevent the spinning sensation.  That only makes me sick to my stomach and I throw up!!  So, if I can get this coughing to stop, I will be on the up and up!! :) 

This week is the week of Thanksgiving too.......I have so much to thank God for!!  He has brought me through so much this last year......more to come in another post.....but make sure that you thank God for everything that He has given you!!!!
